The knife is made of special materials. The powder-metallurgical steel of the blade ensures a high edge retention. Hardness and corrosion resistance are state of the art. The handle is a titanium alloy. Processing titanium is quite difficult, but is one of the core competencies of the manufacturer.

The original shape of the liner serves as a limit when it is unbent. The thrust washers are made of highly wear-resistant antifriction material with added molybdenum disulphide.
